I have a long list of things that I want to do at sometime, but just never get around to. Another one came up recently. Some years ago I cycled from Land’s End to John o’ Groats in the UK. I took quite a lot of photographs (this was before digital – all on slide film) and made an old fashioned slideshow with commentary and dual projectors with fades and so on. For the last several years I have been intending to scan the slides (I have a decent film scanner) and rebuild the slideshow as an electronic one. I also kept notes during the ride, and postcards that I sent, as well as all the maps. Talking to a colleague I realised that I really should organise all this material because I’ve forgotten so much about that cycle ride. But it is yet another thing on the list of things to do ….
Why is it that beautiful days are wasted in the office?
Perhaps I should look at some other clients as well for WordPress … The wordpress documentation gives the following list. I’ve used Journler in the past but blogging is being dropped from that.
Mac (OS X):
- Blogo – Also supports Twitter and Ping.fm, 21-day trial
- Journler (however blogging is being dropped soon from Journler)
- ScribeFire (formerly Performancing)
- WriteToMyBlog – web based
Mac OS X Dashboard Widgets
This is to test the Blogging features within MacJournal. I’m hoping that MacJournal might be the answer to keeping odd snippets of information, maintaining a blog and diary and other useful stuff. We’ll see how it goes.
This is my new blog. Not sure yet what I’m going to do with this, but I will experiment for a while.
